Strenghtening democracy through knowledge

UiO:Democracy is the University of Oslo's initiative to produce and disseminate knowledge that helps develop democracy.

UiO:Democracy addresses current democratic issues and challenges by stimulating interdisciplinary research on democracy, disseminating knowledge through communication and open events, and collaborating with stakeholders across sectors outside of academia.

UiO:Democracy is one of the University of Oslo's three interdisciplinary initiatives, in addition to UiO:Energy and Environment and UiO:Life Science.
