Collaboration Across Academia and Industry
The workshop, part of the dScience Partner Programme, gathered invited participants from academia, research and industry. Contributions came from Kongsberg Discovery, Kongsberg Maritime, the University of Oslo, Equinor and DNV, covering cutting-edge applications of AI in complex sensor environments.
In his remarks, P?l Orten from Kongsberg Maritime highlighted the importance of collaboration: “For future events I hope we will not only see individual presentations from UiO, DNV, Kongsberg, Equinor and others, but also joint presentations. If we manage that, these initiatives are really showing results.”
Building Connections
Alongside expert talks, the event offered an excellent lunch and valuable opportunities for networking, reinforcing the importance of building connections across sectors. The Partner Programme, established by the University of Oslo, includes partners such as Kongsberg Gruppen, Equinor, DNV, DNB, NBIM, the City of Oslo and Helse S?r-?st. Its goal is to accelerate innovation and develop long-term competence in areas crucial for Norway’s future.
