Funded Projects will be announced here.

EyeHub is granting “seed” funding to small-scale projects related to eye-tracking or pupillometry. This includes for instance funding for conducting experimental studies or pilots, developing protocols or scripts, or working on theoretical or methodological questions related to eye-tracking or pupillometry. The project should lead to concrete results, for example a new dataset, a new protocol or script, a scientific article, or an application for external financing. Projects results should be made available for the rest of EyeHub for instance through giving a talk at the EyeHub Forum or sharing project outputs in other ways.

Applications to up to 50 000 NOK can be granted. Funding can be used for instance for getting research assistance or for participant compensation. It is not possible to apply for running costs or to get buyouts for scientific staff.

Application

Scientific staff at UiO can apply (unfortunately not BA or MA students).

The application can be submitted via Nettskjema, and should contain:

  1. A short presentation of the project (200 words max)
  2. A short introduction of the main applicant with a link to personal web page
  3. A short project description including methods, deliverables, and relevance for EyeHub (max 1000 words)
  4. Planned costs with a budget and calculations

In the assessment of applications, the committee will emphasize the following:

  1. Project’s scientific value and relevance for EyeHub
  2. Project’s feasibility

Applications will be reviewed by the EyeHub coordination group.

Next deadline: December 1, 2024.
