Course content
Evidence-based practice (EBP) in speech language pathology is the integration of the clinician’s expert opinion, scientific and clinical evidence, and the client or caregiver’s perspectives.?
In this course, we discuss challenges, possibilities, and methodological considerations within speech and language EBP.

critically appraise the transition between research and clinical practice within different work- and cultural settings in speech and language pathology.?

disseminate principles of EBP in an interdisciplinary context?
Admission to the course
Requires admission to the master’s programme in?Research in Special Needs Education or the master’s programme in Special Needs Education.?Eligible exchange students at master’s level, as well as other master students at UiO, can be admitted if there are available places.?This course is also open for international exchange students at master's level with a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent.
The course is compulsory for students on the specialisation Logopedi.
