I've added a diagram under "labs" to show how to setup the automatic transfer function measurement of the amplifier.
To setup the lab instruments for systematic measurements using matlab, use the IN3170 instructions and script.
I have made links at the bottom of our "Lab Page"
If you prefer python you can alternatively use these scripts
https://github.com/paalgh/IN5180_LabSetup
however, getting trace-data from the oscilloscope is not yet implemented in python
We've added CMOS layout exercises under "CadenceIC". These are not obligatory but they are really fun. Layout experience is crucial to connect the formulas and schematics you learn to the physical chips you are designing. You can ask for guidance during the exercise sessions or come by my office.

Due to the ongoing IFI seminar, the exercise session on Wednesday is cancelled.
I have published Lab 2. in the "Labs" section.
You can start with the first part tomorrow. (Components and circuit boards will be available from next week.)
The schedule part of course websites at UiO has been update to go directly into TP. I have not yet figured out how to upload files directly in TP and as a solution i have moved the lecture slides to a new page under "resources", called Lecture slides. Access to resources require that you are logged into the UiO website.
Exercises can be downloaded from the exercise tab (left side of website after you are logged in ) The first set of tasks is published there.
Welcome to the first lecture Monday 18.8 12:15
We will start with an overview of the course, practical information +++
I will also start with repetition/fundametals.
