Welcome

Hi everyone, and welcome to this course in health data and decision-making! We look forward to meeting you all and discussing health data with you this spring.

The first lecture is Wednesday, January 21. Until then, here is a bit of information:

Lectures

Lectures are on Wednesdays 10.15-12.00.

Please check out the list of lectures on the course pages for more information. This is almost finalized, but we will add details by the beginning of January.

Syllabus

The final syllabus will soon be published on the course pages. If a paper/book is not available through the syllabus page in Leganto, we will share the pdf.

Obligatory assignments

There will be one individual and three group-based obligatory assignments in the course. Information about the group assignments will come in the beginning of the course.

Deadlines as well as information about the individual assignment is published here on the course page for spring 2026.

Group sessions

The group sessions will be used for two activities: (1) Work individually and in groups on the assignments. (2) Present group assignments.

We will not use all the group sessions in the schedule, but please book them for now, and details will come by the first lecture

Exam

The exam will be a an individual oral exam. Dates will be updated in January, but you can expect it to be in the middle of may.
