On Friday, the conference will commence at the University of Oslo campus. After the initial sessions, participants will be transported to a hotel in Oslo (to be announced) for an overnight stay and the continuation of the conference.
Thursday:
For Guests Arriving on Thursday:
- Public transportation options are available from the airport to city centre. The two main services are Flytoget, the Airport express and Vy, the regional and local trains. Both trains depart from the station located directly beneath the airport terminal. Please be aware that we are unable to reimburse costs for public transportation due to the administrative workload and associated costs.
- Flytoget: The travel time is 19 minutes. The standard price is NOK 252, while students with valid ID can travel for a reduced price, at NOK 129. Trains depart every 10 minutes, and tickets can be purchased via the Flytoget app, website, or ticket machines located at the airport.
- Vy: The travel time is approximately 23 minutes. The standard price is NOK 129. Trains run every 10 to 15 minutes, and tickets can be purchased via the Vy app, Ruter app or website.
- We recommend taking the train to Nationaltheatret station, as this will be close to the city centre and close to the designated meeting point for the evening bus departure that the conference will provide bus transportation from the city center
From Oslo City Centre to the hotel there are two options:
- For those interested in joining the evening bus departing from Oslo city centre at 20:30, please note that registration is required via this online form: We kindly ask you to sign up by October 17 to secure your seat.
- Participants who prefer to travel independently can use public transport to reach Voksenkollen. The easiest option is to take Metro Line 1 (Frognerseteren-bound) from Nationaltheatret station in the city centre. The journey takes approximately 34 minutes, and the metro departs every 20 minutes. To buy a ticket, you need to download the Ruter app. The price for a one-way ticket is NOK 44. From Voksenkollen station, it is approximately a 10-minute walk to Voksen?sen Hotel. The hotel’s address is Ullveien 4, 0791 Oslo. The path is uphill and surrounded by forest, therefore we recommend wearing comfortable shoes and dressing appropriately for the weather.

There are also public transportation options available, including buses and the T-bane (the T-bane (subway), which can take up to 45–60 minutes from the hotel to the campus area or the central station.
