Wanted to become an expert in the higher education sector

Enzo N. Rossi completed his Master's degree in Higher Education in 2015. Today he works as an external consultant for the University of Oslo's Department of Informatics in their project DHIS2 (District Health Information Software).

Worked with student recruitment before coming to UiO

Enzo’s background is from student recruitment and student activism and because of this; he wanted to become an expert in the higher education sector.

- I was living in the UK when I decided to apply for the Master's in Higher Education at UiO. Even though I have recently switched careers, I loved working with higher education, says Enzo.

His official title is DHIS2 implementer and his employer is the IT consultancy Devotta AS. He works with implementing support packages for Malaria and HIV in developing countries, as well as the Norwegian version of the global COVID implementation. Before working at Devotta he was an International Adviser at OsloMet for almost five years.

- I love having to juggle the requirements from the different sides and helping come up with a useful product that benefits the global community, as well as learning about different public health issues and how to tackle them. Moreover, before COVID the travel opportunities were a definitive plus.
