Educloud Research

What is Educloud Research?

 
Educloud Research is a project-oriented self-service Platform as a Service that gives easy and fast access to:
  • A work environment for research projects that have cross institution and cross border users
  • Virtual machine with either Windows or Linux
  • Easy data collection with Nettskjema
  • Storage that is available from anywhere, from any device and shared between project users and project platforms (Windows, Linux, HPC)
  • A low threshold HPC system that offers batch job submission (SLURM) and interactive nodes, and that has access to the same storage as the Windows and Linux resources available to the project

Educloud on Demand

Educloud on Demand offers a user friendly environment for running interactive and/or graphical applications directly on the Fox HPC cluster.

Educloud share

Educloud Share is a service that offers storage and file sharing, similar to what you can do on OneDrive, Dropbox and other similar services. It also offers project management tools such as kanban boards, to-do-lists, group calendars, polls, etc.

Data portal

The Data portal lets you easily upload and export data between a specific Educloud project and another storage areas, such as your own laptop, or any UiO storage you might have set up on your computer.
