Protect your chats with biometric authentication

Mattermost is approved for red data. We therefore recommend that everyone who uses Mattermost on their mobile phone or tablet protect their conversations with biometric authentication.

Mattermost integrates with iOS Face ID/Touch ID and Android’s Biometric API.

How to enable Face ID on your iPhone and iPad

  1. Screenshot of the menu where you enable Face IDLong press on the Mattermost icon.
  2. Select Require Face ID from the menu that appears.
  3. And select Require Face ID again.
