Canvas – Learning Management System

What is Canvas?

Canvas is a learning management system used at the University of Oslo. At UiO we have Canvas rooms for studies (courses, study programs, cohorts) and training (employee courses, continuing and further education, open learning resources).

With Canvas you can:

  • find teaching materials and learning resources
  • submit?assignments and offer digital and asynchronous instructional activities
  • communicate with teachers and students

Canvas can be used by students and staff at UiO.

Looking for teachers to join a party

Teachers at the University of Oslo can sign up for a testing party offered by the The Norwegian Association of the Blind and Partially Sighted to determine whether the content they create is accessible to all students. (news article and sign-up form in Norwegian only)
