Note! To reserve an instrument, you must be linked to at least one project.
- Find one (or possibly more) instruments you want to use.
- Open the Add Reservation panel. This can be done in several ways, for example:
- Click on an available slot in the Timeline of the instrument in the Dashboard.
- Click on the instrument's name (or image) on the Instruments page and click the Reservation button in the right panel that opens.
- Fill out the form with:
- desired start and end date and time,
- a project to be charged,
- other obligatory fields as well as optional fields (depending on the instrument's setting).
- By clicking on More at the bottom of the panel to select other resources, you can expand the reservation panel to full width.
- Click the Pricing button at the bottom of the panel to check the cost against the balance.
- A pop-up window will appear, displaying the estimated costs for the new reservation and the project's remaining balance.
- If a user limit is set for the project, the balance remaining within the user limit will be shown.
- Click the Save button at the bottom of the reservation panel, then the Confirm button in the pop-up window to submit the reservation.
- If the estimated costs exceed the balance (as shown in the example above), the reservation will not be made, and you will receive an error message.
- Some instruments require reservation approval, and such reservations will be marked as Pending until approval is granted.
- Instruments may have specific restrictions or conditions that can lead to a denial of reservation, accompanied by an error message explaining the reason.
When the reservation is successful, it will appear on the instrument's Timeline, Calendar as well as in Reservations History.
- Reservations History is available as a submenu of RESERVATIONS in the navigation menu.
- If you click on the reservation in the Timeline or Calendar, or the reservation number in Reservations History, you will see details of the reservation and optionally edit or cancel it.
- Different cancellation policies apply, and you may need to pay all or part of the cost upon cancellation.
