The UiO Growth House has managed the application process for the UiO innovation funding. All the applicants are now offered follow-up from the UiO Growth House in the form of 1:1 guidance that can help them further with the innovation idea.

Do you have an idea in life sciences that could help solve health challenges for humans or animals? Then you can apply for admission to UiO:Life Science's innovation programme SPARK Norway to further develop the idea into new technology, treatment or solution.

The innovation conference Science Impact in pictures
The innovation conference Science Impact 2025 – tomorrow's solutions start today 22 October gathered 350 participants –?researchers from academia, hospitals and the institute sector and representatives from start-ups and larger companies.? The conference?had?sessions on the use of antimicrobial resistance, cancer,?neuroscience, materials science, social innovation, and women's health and great networking opportunities. We focused on initiatives in academia and industry and the need for collaboration and framework conditions needed to put research to use for the benefit of patients and society. See the programme

5 February: Matchmaking for companies and students Momentum UiO student internship 2026
The aim of the internship programme is to introduce students to alternative career paths where they can utilise their knowledge and competence. Companies get access to smart, hard-working students who are interested in learning and contributing.
Does your company want to offer an internship?
Companies that want to offer summer jobs to students through our internship programme Momentum UiO can now sign up to attend in 2026. Companies of any size are welcome to fund an unlimited number of summer jobs. The UiO Growth House covers 50 per cent of the salary of 10 positions in small and medium-sized companies. You apply for support when you register your company?– first come, first served!
